Spherion York is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Shipping and Receiving Clerk position in Red Lion, PA. The pay rate is $20.00 to $25.00 HOURLY.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for documenting, packing, and processing order shipments, both domestically and internationally, while maintaining the quality of product being shipped.
Responsibilities:
- Pull, package, label, and weigh all customer orders
- Wipe, oil, edge protect product as it gets inspected
- Ensure product quantities and shipping methods are accurate
- Process both domestic and international shipments
- Conduct the receipt of goods verification process
- Sort, initiate and accurately put away stock daily
- Maintain inventory accuracy when pulling product from shelves
- Follow directions and procedures with minimum supervision
- Perform housekeeping as needed to maintain the equipment and a clean, organized, safe work area
Education: High School
Experience: 24 months
High self motivation, the and the ability to work with a team as well as independently, Excellent detail orientation, organization, and time management skills, Effective communication skills (verbal and written), Flexible (able to work overtime when needed) and able to work under pressure and cope with shifting priorities Skills:
- Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to learn and use ERP system
