Electrical Design Engineer

We are searching for a full time, direct hire Electrical Design Drafter  in York, PA to be responsible for the design of electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies for high speed automation, including robotics.

What you'll do:

• You will:
•  Design and detail of equipment electrical parts and systems
•  Design of panel layouts and interconnection diagrams
•  Support research and development of new equipment through imagination and original ideas
•  Create economical assemblies with safety and durability as the key ingredients
•  Interpret and integrate electrical drawings/models from clients and vendors
•  Support electrical department change requests
•  Interact with vendors to determine application of technology updates
•  Troubleshoot equipment issues during shop assembly 

Education: Associate Degree

• You will have:
•  UL 508A MTR certification or willing to obtain
•  2-year Associate's degree (A.S.) in Electrical Engineering or 5 years progressive experience 

Experience: 60 months

Skills:

•  The ability to effectively communicate with employees, vendors and clients
•  Knowledge of basic electrical engineering principles a plus
•  Position may require applicant to come in contact with raw and processed food/beverages including red meat/pork, gluten, nuts and seeds, eggs, flour, milk, yeast and alcohol
