Spherion York is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Production Line Assembler position in York, PA. The pay rate is $17.65 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

A line assembler (or production worker) constructs finished products or subassemblies by connecting parts on a manufacturing line. They use hand or power tools to follow precise blueprints, meet daily production quotas, and ensure all items meet strict quality and safety standards

What you'll do:

  • Inspect parts and completed products for defects, ensuring they function correctly before packaging.
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of safety hazards while maintaining tools and machinery.
  • Sort, label, and palletize product according to manufactures guidelines

Education: No formal education required.

Skills:

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and the physical ability to handle small or heavy parts repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capacity to spot minute errors or inconsistencies on the line to prevent defective items.
  • Ability to work smoothly alongside other assemblers and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
