Spherion York is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Electric Pallet Jack Operator position in York, PA. The pay rate is $19.65 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

An Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) Operator safely maneuvers powered equipment to move, load, and stage materials across a warehouse or distribution center. Responsibilities include building orders, wrapping pallets, and operating inventory scanners while maintaining strict safety and speed standards

What you'll do:

  • Equipment Operation: Safely drive ride-on or walkie electric pallet jacks to transport goods without causing product damage or facility accidents
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull and stage products from pick lists, ensuring the right items are delivered to designated shipping zones.
  • Safety & Inspections: Conduct mandatory pre-use equipment checks, adhere to OSHA guidelines, and promptly report any mechanical malfunctions or hazards
  • Inventory Management: Use RF scanners or voice-pick systems to track stock movement, verify lot numbers, and handle returns or partial pallets
  • Facility Upkeep: Wrap finished pallets, securely stack loads, and maintain a clean, organized workspace by clearing debris and spills
