Spherion is hiring a 1st Shift, Maintenance Mechanic position in Charleroi, PA. The pay rate is $21.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for checking machines when they leave and return for safety concerns. The Maintenance Mechanic will look for cracks, broken clamps, damaged parts and clean the equipment.

What you'll do:

• Check machines when they leave and return.
• Inspect for cracks, broken clamps, damaged heater plates, or dull blades. Clean off dirt and wipe down gear.
• Help change oil, replace filters, top off fluids, swap out damaged hoses, and fix simple engine or wiring issues using basic hand tools.
• Fill out simple checklists to log fluid levels, list any parts swapped out, and stick new safety or warning labels on machines where needed.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED
• Trade or Vocational Schooling preferred

Experience: 12 months

Electrical or hydraulic experience would be a plus

Physical:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Skills:

• Mechanically inclined
