Spherion is hiring a Machine Operator for a DIRECT HIRE role in McDonald, PA. This is an immediate opportunity and pay ranges from $21-$30 per hour based on experience.
Description:
As a machine operator you would operate programmed machine to cut metal pieces.
What you'll do:
- Ensure machinery is in good working order before set up
- Set up machinery to successfully conduct jobs as specified
- Change parts when needed
- Read and follow shop tickets for each part
- Measure parts and ensure they are the correct sizes
- Document sizing of parts
- Perform all necessary machine maintenance
- Follow safety standards at all times
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
