Spherion is hiring a Waterjet Operator in Washington. The Waterjet Operator position is a swing shift position with a pay rate of $18 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Waterjet Operator you would be using a waterjet machine to cut and finish metal pieces
What you'll do:
- Using a waterjet machine for cutting, deburring, and finishing metal pieces
- Utilizing blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensuring finished pieces meet quality standards
- Alerting supervisors of any issues
- Keeping a clean and safe work area
- Assisting in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
Experience in Manufacturing, Waterjet experience (preferred)Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
Skills:
- Machine Operation
