Spherion is hiring a Waterjet Machine Operator in Washington. The Waterjet Machine Operator positions is a swing shift position with a pay rate of $18 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Waterjet Machine Operator you would be using a waterjet machine to cut and finish metal pieces.
What you'll do:
- Cutting, deburring, and finishing metal pieces using a waterjet machine
- Interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Ensuring finished pieces meet quality standards
- Alerting a supervisor of any issues
- Keeping a clean and safe work area
- Assisting in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
Machine Operation, Production, Waterjet experience (preferred)Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
- Pushing / Pulling
