Spherion is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Canonsburg. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk position offers a first shift schedule with a pay rate of $18-$21 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you would be ensuring and efficient flow of components through the manufacturing process.
What you'll do:
- Reading and interpreting packing lists, verifying and inspecting contents
- Packing and unpacking shipments
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Entering material receipts and data into ERP software
- Resolving discrepancies between packing lists and received contents
- Preparing shipping documents
- Utilizing a pallet jack
- Assisting in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Experience with MRP and ERP systemsPhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
