Spherion is hiring an Assembler in Washington. The Assembler position pays $20 per hour with a 3pm to 11pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As an Assembler you would assemble various products. You would use hand/power tools, read/interpret blueprints, and ensure finished products meet quality and customer specifications.
What you'll do:
- Assemble products using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ensure finished products meet quality and customer needs
- Rework and adjust products if they do not meet the proper standards
- Perform installation and basic maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
1+ year of assembly or manufacturing experience, Ability to read a tape measure, Basic math skillsPhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- Pushing / Pulling
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
