Spherion is hiring for a 1st Shift, Material Handler position in Canonsburg, PA. The pay rate is $18.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Material Handler, you would be responsible for accurate and efficient handling, storage, and movement of paper material and inventory in the warehouse.

What you'll do:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders with an ability to learn our inventory management system.
• Accurately prepare and stage paper needed for print based on needs and schedule.
• Operate forklifts, tow motor and pallet jack equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks based on schedule.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Follow all company workplace safety protocols
• Assist the work environment in a helpful and supportive manner, as requested, from any team member.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred

Physical:

• Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Standing up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to walk, touch and climb no more than 3 feet throughout the day
