Spherion is hiring a Grinder in Washington. The Grinder position offers a 3pm to 11pm schedule with a pay rate of $19 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Grinder you would be finishing products using a hand held grinder. You would also perform quality checks and re-work products that do not meet quality/customer standards.

What you'll do:

• Grind and finish products to meet quality and customer standards
• Repair welds and imperfections on steel products
• Use hand tools and grinding equipment to remove materials and refine surfaces
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Assist in trainer other employees
• Assist in other areas as needed

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 24 months

Experience in a manufacturing setting, Experience using a grinder

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling

Skills:

• Manufacturing
