Spherion is hiring a Grinder in Washington, PA. The Grinder position offers a 3pm to 11pm schedule with a pay rate of $23 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Grinder you would be grinding and finishing metal pieces and products.
What you'll do:
- Perform grinding operations on metal pieces and products
- Repair welds and surface issues
- Perform putty work to correct defective areas
- Utilize hand tools and grinding equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Assist in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
Experience with a grinder, Familiarity with hand/power toolsPhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
- Pushing / Pulling
