Spherion is hiring a Grinder in Canonsburg. The Grinder position offers a pay rate of $20 per hour with a 3pm to 11pm schedule. Training for the Grinder position would occur on first shift. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Grinder you would be grinding and finishing products to ensure they meet customer and quality needs. You would also conduct basic repairs and quality checks.

What you'll do:

• Grind and finish products to meet quality and customer needs
• Conduct basic repairs and maintenance
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the proper specifications
• Ensure machinery is running properly to ensure there are no issues
• Wear proper PPE and follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist in other areas as needed

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 24 months

2+ years of experience using a grinder (preferred), Manufacturing

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling

Skills:

• Manufacturing
