Spherion is hiring a Waterjet Operator in Washington. The Waterjet Operator position offers a 7am to 3pm schedule with a pay rate of $20 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Waterjet Operator you would be responsible for operating a high-pressure waterjet machine to cut pieces and parts.
What you'll do:
- Use the high-pressure cutting machine.
- Set up the gear and do basic maintenance.
- Load and unload materials.
- Keep an eye on the machine to make sure it’s working right.
- Clean up the cut parts (deburring) and adjust the machine settings.
- Read blueprints and simple diagrams to see what needs to be made
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
CAD, Blueprints and technical drawings, Knowledge of basic hand toolsPhysical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds,Must be able to stand for a full shift
