Spherion is hiring a Waterjet Operator in Canonsburg. The Waterjet Operator position offers a 7am to 3pm schedule with a pay rate of $20 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Waterjet Operator you would be responsible for operating a high-pressure waterjet machine to cut various parts and pieces.
What you'll do:
- Using a high pressure waterjet machine
- Setting up machinery and perform basic maintenance
- Loading and unloading materials
- Monitoring machinery to ensure that it is working properly
- Deburring parts and adjusting machine settings
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
CAD, Blueprints and Technical Drawings, Knowledge of basic hand toolsPhysical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
