Spherion is hiring a Machinist in Canonsburg. The Machinist position offers a 7am to 3pm schedule paying $30 to $40 per hour. The Machinist position is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Machinist you would be responsible for operating CNC and Manual Machines in a safe and efficient manner.
What you'll do:
- Set up and operate CNC and Manual machinery
- Use fabrication equipment including grinders to create precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understand and utilize CAD/CAM files
- Align and secure tooling and materials
- Monitor machinery to ensure that it is running properly
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machines
- Assist in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical Schooling (preferred)
Experience: 36 months
Experience with CNC and Manual machines, FabricationPhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
Skills:
- CNC
- Manual machine operation
- CAD/CAM
