Spherion is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Washington. The Maintenance Technician position pays $25 to $30 per hour with a 7am to 3pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Maintenance Technician you would conduct service and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery. You would also perform building maintenance as well.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems within the facility
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and CNC machinery
  • Assist operators with preventative maintenance
  • Operate a forklift within the facility
  • Perform maintenance on water lines, compressed air lines, electrical outlets, and wiring
  • Follow proper safety procedures to include OSHA and lockout/tag out

Education: High School

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 36 months

Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, Maintenance experience

Physical:

  • Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Standing / Walking
  • Repetitive Motion
  • Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
  • Pushing / Pulling
