Spherion is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Washington. The Maintenance Technician offers a pay rate of $25 to $30 per hour with a 7am to 3pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Maintenance Technician you would be responsible for conducting service and repairs on industrial equipment.
What you'll do:
- Conducting service and repairs on industrial equipment
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical and CNC machinery
- Assist operators with preventative maintenance
- Perform maintenance on water, compressed air line, and electrical outlets and wiring
- Following proper safety procedures to include OSHA, and lockout/tag out
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 36 months
Experience with mechanical and electrical systemsPhysical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
Skills:
- Troubleshooting skills
- Forklift operation
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
