Spherion is hiring a Welder in Washington, PA! The Welder position offers a 7am to 3pm schedule with a pay rate of $24 to $26 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Welder you would be welding and assembling various metal pieces and products.

What you'll do:

• Setting up and operating welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and Stick)
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Utilizing fabrication equipment as needed
• Ensuring finished products meet quality standards
• Ensuring welding equipment is properly maintained
• Following all safety requirements

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification in welding (preferred)

Experience: 24 months

2+ years of experience with welding, fabrication, and manufacturing, Experience welding thin gauge metals (preferred)

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling

Skills:

• TIG
• MIG
• Stick (preferred)
