Spherion is hiring a Welder in Washington. The Welder position offers a pay rate of $20 to $25 per hour with a 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday schedule. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Description:
As a Welder you would be responsible for welding sheet metal products and ensuring they meet proper customer and quality standards.
What you'll do:
- Weld sheet metal products
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Rework products that do not meet quality standards
- Use of fabrication tools to include grinders
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Assisting in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
Experience with TIG and MIG welding, Stick welding (preferred), Ability to weld thin metalsPhysical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
- Pushing / Pulling
Skills:
- MIG

- Stick Welding
- Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
