Spherion is hiring a CNC Machinist in Washington. The CNC Machinist position offers a pay rate of $25 to $30 per hour with a rotating schedule (5a-3p and 3p-1p) There is a $2 shift differential as well. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Description:

As a CNC Machinist you would be responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery.

What you'll do:

• Setting up and operating various types of machinery to include Vertical Lathes and Horizontal Mills
• Operating CNC Machinery
• Utilizing measurement devices accurately
• Ability to operate a fork truck and crane
• Compliance with proper safety procedures
• Assisting where needed

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 48 months

4 to 5 years of experience with CNC or Manual Lathe, Good math skills, Machine Operation, Understanding of measurement devices, Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics<p> </p>

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
