Spherion is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Imperial. The Welder Fabricator position pays $19 to $24 per hour with a 7am to 3pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Welder Fabricator you would be responsible for welding steel products. You would also utilize various fabrication tools.

What you'll do:

• Weld steel subassemblies to meet production and quality standards
• Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Utilize fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears
• Create work templates using a computerized system
• Check finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 12 months

AWS B2.1/B21M qualified welder, Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S, Familiarity with ERP and SAP

Physical:

• Must be able to stand for a full shift
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
