Spherion is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Imperial. The Welder Fabricator position offers a 7am to 3:30pm schedule with a pay rate of $19 to $24 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Welder Fabrication you would be responsible for welding steel products. You would also be utilizing fabrication tools as well.

What you'll do:

• Welding steel subassemblies to meet production and quality standards
• Reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Utilizing fabrication equipment such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears
• Creating work templates using a computerized system
• Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Other duties as assigned

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 12 months

AWS B2.1/B21M qualified welder, Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S, Familiarity with ERP and SAP

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel

Skills:

• Reading and comprehending blueprints and technical drawings
• Manufacturing
• Welding
