Spherion is hiring a Mechanical Assembler in Imperial. The Mechanical Assembler position offers a pay rate of $19 to $21 per hour with a 7am to 3:30pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Mechanical Assembler you would be responsible for assembling products to meet quality standards.

What you'll do:

• Assembling products to meet high quality standards
• Meeting or exceeding production quotas
• Utilizing hand and power tools to assemble products
• Training new employees
• Using computers and scanners to manage work orders
• Flexing in and out of different areas as needed

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 12 months

1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Understanding of basic math, Familiarity with hand and power tools<p> </p>

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for a full shift
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel

Skills:

• Assembly
• Ability to read a tape measure
• SAP/ERP (Preferred)
• Problem solving
