Spherion is hiring for an assembler in Imperial. The Assembler position pays $18.50 to $23.00 per hour and offers a 7a-3:30p schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description:
Assemblers are responsible for assembling products to the highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling products to the highest level of quality
- Using various hand tools such as drills, punches, and pneumatic hand tools
- Working to the highest level of safety
- Training new employees as needed
- Assisting in other areas as needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 12 months
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentPhysical:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
Skills:
- Hand/Power tools
- Analytical problem solving
- Reading a tape measure
