Packager

Spherion is hiring for a Packager in Burgettstown. The Packager position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule that goes from 5am to 3:30pm. There is always overtime available on Friday. The Packager position pays $17/hour and is a full time, temp-to-hire position.

Job Description:

Packagers are responsible for the final preparation of products prior to shipment. The Packager position involves inspecting, packaging, and preparing products to ensure safety during delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting final quality checks on all products to ensure they meet company and customer standards
• Preparing products for transit by applying materials (foam, corner protectors, etc.) to prevent damage
• Fulfill production orders on schedule to ensure on-time customer delivery
• Accurately label all packages and complete the required shipping documentation
• Assisting in other work areas as needed

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

• Experience with hand and power tools
