Machine Operator

Spherion is hiring for a 2nd shift Machine Operator in Burgettstown. This is a temp-to-hire position that starts at $19.50-$21.50/hour. The Machine Operator position offers a 3:30p-2a shift with overtime that is always available on Friday. There is a $1500 retention bonus for the right candidate. Training for this position is on first shift which is 5a-3:30p.

Job Description:

As a Machine Operator, you would be setting up, operating and maintaining the custom machining centers to produce high-quality parts. Machine operators ensure the correct pieces are assembled along with using a tablet to enter the data in

Responsibilities:

• Entering production data into machinery for producing products
• Loading raw materials into machinery
• Performing tool changes and making necessary adjustments to machinery
• Assembling panels while machinery is running
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identifying and troubleshooting quality issues by making proper adjustments
• Performing routine maintenance
• Identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions to the department supervisor
• Following safety protocols and wearing PPE at all times

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 12 months

Physical:

• Must be able to lift or move at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to safely climb stairs or ladder
