Team Leader

Spherion is hiring for a Team Leader in Burgettstown. The Team Leader position is a 2nd shift temp-to-hire opportunity paying $20.50-$22.50 per hour. This position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule with 4 ten hour shifts. Overtime is always available on Friday. The Team Leader position involves leading a team to ensure smooth production, providing training, and enforcing safety rules. Training for this position is on first shift which is 5a-3:30p.

Job Description:

The Team Leader will lead other team members to ensure smooth and efficient production. There are performance based bonuses and salary increases each year!

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that production employees are working efficiently
• Identifying and correcting unsafe behaviors
• Training and supporting employees
• Completing daily reviews of production plans and schedules
• Providing feedback on employee performance
• Driving and enforcing new initiatives to ensure a safe and clean work setting
• Assisting with annual inventory counts
• Ensuring pick lists are input in a timely manner
• Ensuring that machinery is running and cleaned properly

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Prioritization skills
