Spherion is hiring a Crate Builder in Burgettstown. The Crate Builder position pays $19/hour and offers a Monday through Thursday scheduled that goes from 5am to 3:30pm. There is overtime that is always available on Friday for this position. This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description:
Crate Builders are responsible for building and packaging crates along with other pieces.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble wooden crates to meet high quality standards
- Utilize hand and power tools during the production process
- Adhere to strict safety protocols
- Meet or exceed production quotas
- Operate computer systems and handheld scanners to track work orders
- Assist in other areas as needed
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
Skills:
- Must be able to use hand tools efficiently
- Must be able to work in a safe manner
