Spherion is hiring a 1st Shift, Order Selector position in Canonsburg, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

As an Order Selector is responsible for ensuring that correct items are selected with the correct quantity for each customer and shipping in good condition in a timely fashion.

What you'll do:

• Check for quality and consistency in packaged product
• Select orders depending on each specific client
• Prepares shipments and packs items to ensure safe delivery
• Other duties as assigned and may consist of assisting in other departments

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Experience in a shipping department is preferred, but not required

Physical:

• Standing up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Moderately loud noise is a constant

Skills:

• Ability to read and distinguish small print, depth perception, color perception
