Spherion is hiring a Bindery Operator in Canonsburg. The Bindery Operator position pays $16 per hour with an 7am to 3pm schedule. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description:

As a Bindery Operator, you would be working in a team setting in the bindery area where materials are printed, cut and folded. You will have attention to detail and work quickly with the team.

What you'll do:

• Read work orders to figure out what order to run jobs in so you don't waste time or paper.
• Set up the machine before starting so everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Pull out every sheets while the machine is running to check for spots, smears, or errors.
• Deal with jams, misprints, or mechanical glitches when something goes wrong.
• Give the incoming operator a quick heads-up on how the machine is running and what's left to print.
• Tell your boss when paper, ink, or supplies are running low so you don't run out.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Experience in a warehouse environment, Ability to work as a team player

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Standing/Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Pushing/Pulling

Skills:

• Work around machines is preferred
