Laundry Operator

Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Laundry Operator position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $15.50 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are looking for hardworking team members to join us as Production Personnel in Williamsport, PA! In this role, you will sort, wash, dry, fold, and pack hospital linens so they are clean, fresh, and ready for delivery. What you'll do:

• Sort used hospital linens, gowns, and towels by fabric type and wash instructions.
• Load and unload commercial washers and dryers safely.
• Feed clean sheets and linens into automated ironing and folding machines.
• Inspect items for tears, wear, or stubborn stains to make sure only top-quality linens are sent out.
• Fold, stack, and bundle clean linens neatly according to customer orders.
• Pack finished bundles into clean delivery carts and label them for shipment.
• Clean your work area, sweep floors, clear lint traps, and help keep the plant safe and tidy.
• Work closely with teammates and follow all safety and infection control rules.

Education: No formal education required.
