Accounts Payable Specialist

Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st Shift, Accounts Payable Specialist position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 to $17.00 HOURLY.

Description:

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to keep our financial records neat and up to date. In this role, you will handle daily invoices, pay bills, and help our finance team with regular tasks and special projects. This is a part-time, 30-40 hour per week position.

What you'll do:

• Check daily invoices for accuracy and fix any errors.
• Process weekly payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Act as the main contact for vendors with billing questions.
• Update and manage basic spreadsheets.
• Help the team close out monthly accounting periods.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

Education: Associate Degree

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's Degree preferred or 6+ months relevant experience

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

• Ability to stand, sit, and lift up to 25lbs frequently
