General Laborer

Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 8am-5pm, General Laborer position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $15.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary.

Description:

We are seeking hard-working, reliable General Laborers to join our event setup crew for the busy autumn season starting in September. In this role, you will work as part of a team to deliver, assemble, break down, and maintain high-quality event tents, staging, dance floors, and outdoor event equipment.

What you'll do:

• Load, unload, erect, and dismantle commercial event tents, sidewalls, flooring, lighting, and staging.
• Safely handle heavy materials, drive stakes, attach winches, and secure heavy vinyl covers.
• Inspect set-up areas for safety, clear minor debris, and ensure secure anchoring.
• Wash, fold, roll, and organize vinyl tops, side panels, and hardware back at the warehouse.
• Follow safety protocols, operate basic hand/power tools, and collaborate closely with crew leaders.

Education: No formal education required.

Skills:

• Experience with basic hand tools
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying autumn weather conditions
• Punctual with consistent attendance for a Monday–Friday schedule.
