Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st Shift, Textile Cleaner position in Montoursville, PA. The pay rate is $16.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Textile & Electronics Restoration Cleaner to join our team full-time. In this role, you will inspect, clean, and restore both soft goods (textiles/clothing) and sensitive electronic items that have been impacted by environmental elements or everyday wear. You will be responsible for ensuring every item is safely processed according to specific care guidelines and returned to the correct family with precision and care.

What you'll do:

• Carefully inventory, log, and categorize incoming personal property, textiles, and electronic devices by family or claim.
• Sort, wash, dry, iron, steam, fold, or hang fabrics according to tag specifications and restoration guidelines.
• Safely clean, wipe down, air-blow, and surface-restore sensitive electronic items (e.g., TVs, gaming systems, appliances, small devices) using designated cleaning solutions and safe handling techniques.
• Inspect items before and after cleaning to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, and absence of residual contaminants or damage.
• Handle all personal belongings with extreme care, ensuring strict tracking and safe packing for return delivery.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

Prior experience in property contents restoration, electronic repair/cleaning, or commercial laundry is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to read and follow garment care tags, electrical safety labels, and technical cleaning instructions.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, stand, and move boxes or small machinery throughout a full-time 1st shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills.
