Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st Shift, Production Worker position in Mackeyville, PA. The pay rate is $14.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The Production Operator operates manufacturing equipment and executes line tasks essential to producing high-quality, saleable goods. This position plays a key role in maintaining product specifications through continuous quality checks, equipment adjustments, and accurate data logging. The ideal candidate maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows safety protocols, and works collaboratively across shifts to ensure continuous operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Operate production machinery, perform line changeovers, and conduct equipment adjustments to consistently produce goods within required specifications.
• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process, making necessary line tweaks and rejecting any items that fall outside established quality standards.
• Accurately enter manufacturing metrics into company databases and perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery as required.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

1–2 years of experience operating machinery, working on an assembly line, or working in a manufacturing/industrial environment, Proven ability to read product specifications, conduct routine visual/dimensional quality checks, and identify/reject defective products.
