Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st Shift, Quality Inspector position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $16.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Are you someone with a sharp eye for detail? In this role, you will inspect and verify product compliance from receipt to final shipment, ensuring our customers receive top-tier quality.

What you'll do:

  • Read blueprints to understand product requirements, test samples, and check quality from start to finish.
  • Decide if products meet standards, and team up with the Quality Manager when tough calls are needed.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure everything is well-maintained and accurately calibrated.
  • Keep accurate records of all test results and write clear quality reports for management.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.

Education: High School

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Previous experience as a quality inspector., Knowledge of quality control.

Physical:

  • Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Standing / Walking

Skills:

  • Verbal communication,
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
