Production Operator

Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a Rotating Days or Nights, Production Operator position in Jersey Shore, PA. The pay rate is $18.56 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

What you'll do:

• Operate mold and trim presses to create high-quality products.
• Keep things moving through washing, drying, and special treatments.
• Use your "eagle eyes" to inspect work and ensure perfection.
• Weigh, pack, and label products for shipping.

Education: High School

• HS Diploma or GED required.

Physical:

• Standing / Walking
• Repetitive Motion
• Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling
• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Manual Dexterity
• PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)

Skills:

• Comfortable using a keyboard and mouse to enter data.
• The ability to inspect products for small defects or errors.
• Basic skills for weighing products and labeling boxes accurately.
• Ability to read and follow "Playbooks" and safety manuals in English.
