Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st Shift, Warehouse Associate position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $13.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Shipping Packer to join our team on 1st Shift in Williamsport. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling finished goods according to order lists and packaging them securely to meet customer specifications. You will also use a computer system to generate shipping labels and operate a forklift to safely move inventory and stage completed orders.

What you'll do:

• Pull finished goods and items by part number according to the Pick List issued by management.
• Package items on skids or in individual cartons, utilizing automatic shrink wrappers and tape machines to ensure shipments are properly sealed and bound.
• Accurately enter order information into the computer system to generate and affix shipping labels to outgoing products.
• Utilize a forklift or hand jack to efficiently move inventory, pull stock, stage completed orders, and act as a relief driver when needed.
• Submit completed Pick Lists to Shipping Management to ensure shipping orders are scheduled for pickup on time.
• Stock the work area with necessary shipping boxes and maintain a clean, organized workspace free of safety hazards.

Education: High School

• Forklift Certification

Experience:

Previous warehouse, packing, or shipping experience preferred., Must be forklift certified or willing to complete training and certification on the job.

Physical:

• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive packing tasks, and lift packages safely.
