Spherion Williamsport is working to fill a 1st and 2nd shift available, Production Worker position in Williamsport, PA. The pay rate is $14.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Description:
We’re looking for Production Associates to join our fast-paced operations team. If you’re great with your hands and love a streamlined process, this is for you.
What you'll do:
- Rapidly pick and pack books to meet high-volume customer demands.
- Apply labels, jackets, and spine protection with manual dexterity.
- Install RFID tags, security sensors, and specialized kits per specs.
- Load, unload, and transport stock using pallet jacks and conveyors.
- Shelve new arrivals and troubleshoot stocking errors for accuracy.
- Perform final inspections on all materials and finalize shipping paperwork.
- Keep a safe, organized workspace and adapt to rotating production tasks.
Education: High School
- High school diploma or GED
Physical:
- Pushing / Pulling
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
- Repetitive Motion
Skills:
- Ability to measure and read a ruler.
