Spherion Sunbury is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Coal Bagger position in Sunbury, PA. The pay rate is $23.94 HOURLY.
Description:
The Coal Bagger is responsible for operating bagging equipment, packaging coal products, and preparing finished bags for shipment.
What you'll do:
- Must be able to handle the physical activities of the job, including lifting and stacking up to 50 pound bags, packing and moving drums and other containerized materials.
- Read and follow written instructions.
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner, as needed.
- Organize the production area to maintain the quality of the product and condition of the packaging.
- Move materials from storage to production, and from production to storage as needed.
- Operate Pack Out machines and identify material as directed in the production control plan
- Pull samples as directed in the production control plan
Education: High School
Experience: 12 months
Physical:
- Heavy Lifting (50+ lbs)
- Standing / Walking
- Repetitive Motion
- PPE Required (Noise / Chemical / Dust)
- Cold Environments
- Hot Environments
- Bending / Stooping / Kneeling
Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing
