Machine Operator

Spherion Sunbury is working with a client in their search to fill a 1st Shift, Machine Operator position in Watsontown, PA. The pay rate is $17.00 HOURLY.

Job Description:

The Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery to produce goods, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production by monitoring machine performance, adjusting settings, performing routine maintenance and cleaning, and inspecting products for quality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Manufacturing machine and or group of machines with basic computer skills.
• Ensuring quality control is maintained at all times and make proper adjustments to the machine.
• Completing general daily production goals and work overtime when necessary.
• Performing general maintenance on the machine to keep it running effectively to maintain production goals.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Operate a forklift and perform other job tasks as assigned.

Education: Not Specified

Experience: 12 months

Skills:

• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail for quality checks and defect identification
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with other operators and supervisors
