What you'll do:
- Look at the different sizes and types of wood as they come off the machines and group them together.
- Neatly stack lumber into tall, even piles so they are easy to move and store safely.
- Place raw logs or boards onto conveyor belts or into saws to be cut.
- Watch for wood with cracks, knots, or rot and set those pieces aside so only the best wood goes to customers.
