CDL Driver (Commercial Drivers License Driver)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Direct Hire — No Hire through Spherion)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Home Time: Home Every Night

Pay: Competitive hourly rate + overtime potential

What you'll do:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to perform local pick-ups and deliveries.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
• Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers and warehouse management at delivery locations.
• Ensure loads are secure and handled safely according to DOT regulations.

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

Skills:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
