Maintenance Labeling Assistant

Spherion State College is working to fill a 1st Shift, Maintenance Labeling Assistant position in Lewistown, PA. The pay rate is $18.00 HOURLY. This position is entry-level. No experience is necessary. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

The Maintenance Labeling Assistant is responsible for organizing inventory and applying identifying labels to tools, equipment, parts, and facility assets. This role focuses purely on labeling and physical inventory tracking to support the maintenance team.

What you'll do:

• Print and apply barcode, QR, or text labels to parts and equipment.
• Verify that label details match inventory system records exactly.
• Organize maintenance storage areas, shelves, and bins for easy access.
• Count and log physical inventory items during the labeling process.
• Report missing, damaged, or misidentified parts to the supervisor.

Education: High School

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in matching numbers and labels.

• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, workshop, or maintenance facility environment.
