QC Inspector Production Operator

Spherion State College is working to fill a 1st Shift, QC Inspector Production Operator position in State College, PA. The pay rate is $15.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

These positions involve working with extremely small parts requiring excellent visual acuity, good manual dexterity, speed, and an ability to work at the same task throughout the work shift.

What you'll do:

• Operate automated manufacturing equipment and perform mechanical assembly and quality control inspections according to strict specifications
• Set up and run automated production lines capable of producing large batches of components.
• Inspect microscopic flaws on miniature electronic components, ensuring they meet rigorous military and space standards.
• Use hand tools, microscopes, and test equipment to construct sub-assemblies or final electronic components.
• Track work orders, log product output into tracking systems, and follow highly detailed work specifications.
• Adhere strictly to cleanroom or industrial safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Education: High School

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience: 6 months
