Production Operator (QC Inspector)

Spherion State College is working to fill a 1st Shift, Production Operator (QC Inspector) position in State College, PA. The pay rate is $15.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work within our modern, automated production lines to help manufacture high-quality, high-reliability chip resistors. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our world-class quality standards, ensuring efficient production for both large-batch orders and custom, quick-delivery components.

What you'll do:

• Operate automated manufacturing equipment and perform mechanical assembly and quality control inspections according to strict specifications
• Set up and run automated production lines capable of producing large batches of components.
• Inspect microscopic flaws on miniature electronic components, ensuring they meet rigorous military and space standards.
• Use hand tools, microscopes, and test equipment to construct sub-assemblies or final electronic components.
• Track work orders, log product output into tracking systems, and follow highly detailed work specifications.
• Adhere strictly to cleanroom or industrial safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Education: High School

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
