Warehouse Worker (Shipping & Receiving)

Spherion State College is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Warehouse Worker (Shipping & Receiving) position in Bellefonte, PA. The pay rate is $19.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

In this role, you will handle daily shipping and receiving tasks, pull accurate customer orders, and safely put away incoming inventory.

Because precision is key to our operations, this position requires strong attention to detail to ensure every order is accurate and inventory is tracked correctly.

What you'll do:

• Order Picking & Pulling: Accurately select products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities match perfectly.
• Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and prepare outgoing shipments for transit.
• Inventory Placement: Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organized and clean workspace.
• Quality Control: Carefully read, match, and double-check long sequences of numbers and labels to completely eliminate picking and stocking errors.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED required
