Spherion State College is working to fill a 2nd Shift, Parts & Stockroom Worker position in Bellefonte, PA. The pay rate is $19.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Description:

Spherion is seeking a motivated Parts & Stockroom Warehouse Associates to join our team. You will handle inventory, operate machinery, and support shop and customer orders. This role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding our company values. What you'll do:

• Maintain a clean safe work environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Load and unload parts truck and freight deliveries
• Efficiently and accurately pick, put away parts
• Basic skills in shipping, receiving, freight in bound and out bound
• Ability to understand the basic principles of inventory control
• The ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
• Work independently & efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible to maintain professional behavior consistent with the Mission, Vision and values of the client.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: 6 months

Prior warehouse or forklift experience a plus willing to train the right candidate

Physical:

• Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping / Kneeling,Pushing / Pulling,Hot Environments,Cold Environments

Skills:

• Ability to stand or walk for entire shifts and frequently lift or move heavy objects (typically 40–50 lbs).,High accuracy in selecting the correct items, serial numbers, and quantities to minimize shipping errors.,Familiarity with modern warehouse tech, such as scanners, barcode readers, and inventory software.,Capability to meet picking quotas and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
